Nate Tillmanns of the Grand Forks Border Bruins is this week’s Young Guns, presented by the Next Shift Network, as he had three goals and two assists in three games.
Border Bruins head coach-GM David Hnatiuk said Tilllmanns is a big, strong player who skates hard and is difficult to separate from the puck. He also possesses a really hard shot.
“Nate is finding some time and space out there, using his size and speed and it’s working to his advantage,” said Hnatiuk. “Nate is always strong on pucks, and makes good decisions. He also brings a physical presence. You combine those things into his game right now, and he has seen success because of it.”
In 21 games, Tillmanns has 10 goals and 15 points.
