KIJHL/Bruins Rookie Scoring – 2019-20 Season
There are about 180 Rookies, not including goaltenders, in the 20 team KIJHL 2019-20 Season. Several of them are on the roster of the Border Bruins.
And three outstanding rookies in the Border Bruins lineup completed the 2019-20 season at, or near the top, of the league scoring statistics.
- Bruins teammates Elvis Slack and Kyle Bailey, as a rookie twosome, lead the entire league with a combined 48 goals.
- Elvis currently stands second in the league among rookies with 28 goals.
- Wyatt Gelinas is third in the league among rookies with 33 Assists.
- Elvis, Kyle and Wyatt have collected 130 points which is the highest total of any first year threesome in the KIJHL.
- In terms of Bruins history, as far back as we have records, these three Border Bruins have, offensively, provided more production this season than any other rookie troika on a Bruins team.
