Grand Forks Border Bruins alum Max Newton (2013-15) is once again leading Germany’s DEL2 in points.
Last season, his first in the league, Newton won the points crown with 69 points in 50 games for the Krefeld Pinguine.
His play earned him a contract extension through 2028 with the Pinguine, the league’s top team with 105 points.
