Emerson Hrynyk (Border Bruin 2008/09), last season's Top Rookie, has been seeing regular shifts with the Prince Albert Raiders of the WHL. With 3 years of junior still ahead of him, Emerson has the work ethic and attitude, not to mention size and skill, to go a long way. We'll all be keeping an eye on Emer making an impact in "The Dub" and beyond. |

Former Fan Favorite Award winner Chad Niddery (Border Bruin 2006/07, 2007/08) is in his third season with the Powell River Kings of the BCHL, averaging more than a point a game and turning heads of NCAA college recruiters. |

Sam Olson (Border Bruin 2008/09), last season's top scoring forward, has been playing with the Estevan Bruins of the SJHL. Sam was an exciting player to watch in a Border Bruin uniform, and is hoping his continued fine play at the junior A level will lead to a scholarship at an NCAA school. The Bruins would like to congratulate Sam on his new challenge and look forward to following his future hockey successes. |

Brandon Watson (Border Bruin 2008/09), who spent most of last season with the Bruins as one of the team's two 16 year-olds, has been playing with the Quesnel Millionaires of the BCHL, contributing speed and grit to the Millionaire's lineup. |

Evan Kurylo (Border Bruin 2006/07, 2007/08) is playing his second season in net for the team, and is joined this season by Shane Mainprize (Border Bruin 2008/09). Former Bruin captain Chris Glen (Border Bruin 2005/06, 2006/07) has been averaging a point a game for the Voyageurs the last 2 seasons after raking in 95 points in 34 games with the Utah Valley State College Wolverines of the ACHA during the 2007/08 season. |

Sean Roulston (Border Bruin 2005/06) played the 2007/08 season with the Wichita Thunder of the CHL. Sean follows in the footsteps of another Wichita alumnus - his father Tom, who played with Wichita before going on to a 14 year career in the NHL. Good luck Sean and keep up the good work. |
